I've been a keen amateur gardener for my entire adult life, and over time I've built up a good understanding of what you need to get done, what you can slack off on a bit and when the right time to act is. The trouble is that it's difficult to acquire this kind of knowledge without the three decades of experience I have behind me already! I hope to use this blog to track the progress of my much-loved garden and to share my personal tips, tricks, timetables and calendars with you.
